The Square Chines Restaurant
Location: Wimborne
Client: Mr. P Meyer
The Crown court complex is situated between two existing buildings in Wimborne, Dorset.
Its is a masonry/composite panel clad steel framed building with beam and block first floor. Stability was achieved through a combination of portal frames and bracing panels. There is also a large balcony area with a glass panel handrail.
Great care was taken to design the building independently to adjacent properties but maximise the potential of available space.

Westover Nissan Showroom
Location: Bournemouth
Client: Westover Motors
This building consists of a steel framed structure with deep steel lattice trusses spanning the full width of the building and to the external columns supporting the metal clad roof.
The trusses also support the mezzanine floor thus allowing the ground floor showroom to be internally column free.

Poet Laureate
Location: Poundbury
Client: Morrish Builders
Officially opened in November 2002 by HRH Prince Charles. The Poet Laureate was constructed using traditional load-bearing masonry, with steel beams and columns to the lower storey.

Village Stores
Location: Poundbury
Client: Morrish Builders
The construction was similar for both of these three storey developments. A steel frame was utilised for the ground floor storey, to enable an open plan arrangement to be achieved.
The upper two storeys are of load-bearing masonry and precast concrete floors. Traditional foundations bear onto the chalk sub-grade.
