Poundbury - The Continuing Development

GAP have been working with both Morrish Builders and Woodpecker Properties at Prince Charles's Poundbury Village Development for several years having designed numerous houses, offices blocks, shops and even the local pub. We are now looking forward to working with both companies on some of the future phases, creating more unique buildings in the Poundbury style. Coy Pond Office Development, Poole

The prestigious office development at Coy Pond is now taking shape with the majority of the structure framework and floors complete. With the completion of the project due approximately mid 2007 we are looking forward to seeing the final results of what promises to be a very nice development.

Success with "Structurally Insulated Panels" (SIPS)

GAP Ltd has worked closely with Build IT Green U.K. Ltd for the last two years in support of bringing SIPS to the marketplace and has successfully completed projects for Residential, School and Leisure Facilities.

SIPS have been a successful alternative to timber framed buildings for the last 50 years in the United States and are now rapidly becoming popular in the United Kingdom. For further information please contact:

Glenside Manor, Salisbury

We are pleased to be helping Cowlin Design & Build with the construction of a new special care hospital at Salisbury. The foundations are now complete and the superstructure is commencing this month.

GAP Ltd continues to assist J D Wetherspoon in their ambitious expansion programme with several sites in the South-West currently on the development agenda.

Structural Technician Richard Blair joined us in December 2006 and continues his professional studies at Southampton Institute.

New Hotel for Autumn 2007 in York

GAP Ltd are pleased to be involved with the design of the Hotel du Vin at York.

New Specialist Care Hospital at South Newton, Salisbury

GAP are pleased to be working again with Cowlins on the design and construction of a new specialist care hospital at South Newton, Near Salisbury. Our old friends QP Architecture are involved, so we're looking forward to a smooth running project.

March 2006:

GAP to Work on New Commercial Development at Poundbury

Woodpecker Properties have appointed us for the design of a 4000m2 commercial development on the Duchy of Cornwall's Estate at Poundbury in Dorset. The new building will dominate the western entrance to Dorchester and Poundbury from the A35 Monkeys Jump Junction.

November 2005:

New Office Development at Coy Pond

The Coy Pond area of Bournemouth will shortly be enhanced by a new office development, and GAP Ltd will be working with Coy Pond Developments to bring about the transformation. The difficult site is criss-crossed with existing sewers and overhead power lines, so it should prove to be an interesting scheme!

August 2005:

Good Luck Fiona

After nine years with GAP Ltd, and following the birth of a daughter, Madison, in January, Fiona decided to leave us at the end of July. Her cheerful smile will be missed by all of us.
